Welcome to Heritage Academy’s English language learning webpage!  On this page, you will find helpful links and resources.

Heritage Academy’s ELL Program exists to provide students with the academic language development necessary to access the grade-level content, skills and vocabulary needed for success in content area classes.  Our ELL program currently offers:

• Sheltered instruction in content area classes, in which language instruction is integrated with the core academic content.

• Collaborative teaching between mainstream classroom teacher and ELL teacher to provide additional support in content area classes.

• Bilingual support in the mainstream classroom.

• After school enrichment to strengthen reading, writing and math skills.
